Let the festival rumpus start! Coachella, or Indio, CA’s celebration of desert heat, awesome music and Ecstasy use, announced its 2011 lineup today. And it’s pretty stacked. Though it doesn’t have the high-profile reunion act it usually draws, seeing Death From Above 1979 back in the saddle is nevertheless awesome. And Lauryn Hill. You all need to get very excited about Lauryn Hill so she finally makes another record already, dammit! (</digression>)
If you went to Lollapalooza last year, some of the headliners will look familiar (Arcade Fire, The Strokes), and others will be interesting to say the least (Kings of Leon rallying after lukewarm reception for Come Around Sundown, Kanye West’s continuation of his victory lap). The festivities will take place April 15-17th.
