Cage just can’t stop being Cage.  Fresh off his performance with Kid Cudi and recent rumors about a Cudi/Cage/Shia LaBeouf collaboration, Cage released his new music video for the single “Captain Bumout.”  Now “Captain Bumout” is a rather tame song by Cage standards but the music video is the exact opposite.  Director Stephen Reedy, who works for the J.J. Abrams production company Bad Robot, goes completely bonkers with the concept.  Instead of having Cage sing “I dance with you” and seeing a beautiful woman dancing, we get a shot of Cage exploding into an oily tentacle monster.  I feel like I should make a Cloverfield joke here but it doesn’t seem appropriate.  Check out the video for “Captain Bumshot” below.
