My main focus this week has been the book “I Slept With Joey Ramone,” written by his brother Mickey Leigh. It’s a great biography written from the perspective and recollection of the person who knew him best. This book came out in 2009 and I’m a huge Ramones fan, so I have no idea why it took me so long to find this thing!

My girlfriend gave me an incredible flashback to a simpler time, a time when M. Night Shyamalan wasn’t a total hack yet and people thought he was the future of filmmaking. This led me to this article, written shortly before the release of Lady in the Water (a movie I’ll actually step up and defend, honestly), in which Shyamalan starts to realize the mess he’s created for himself. It’s a fascinating read, especially now.
