Black Lips to Join Vivian Girls on Spring Tour

The Black Lips may have one of the best albums of 2011 – and it’s not even out yet.  The band recently finished recording their sixth studio album with top 40 provocateur Mark Ronson and are ready to unleash their new garage pop tunes onto audiences this spring.  The Black Lips announced new dates for a spring tour today, with New Yorkers the Vivian Girls joining them on the road.  To get a preview of what’s to come on the band’s new album, check out Rolling Stones’ interview with the boys and Mark Ronson while they were in the studio.

The Black Lips’ and Vivian Girls’ new albums are slated to be released this spring on Vice and Polyvinyl, respectively.  All dates are with the Vivian Girls unless otherwise noted.
