We’ve Got You Covered: Foxes In Fiction and Katy Perry

Foxes In Fiction is the solo work of Canadian Warren Hildebrand. Hildebrand creates a lo-fi sound with some pretty catchy melodies, but enough fuzz to make you feel like you are listening to an 8th generation recording, with the original recording coming from a Talkboy. Hildebrand has used the moniker Foxes In Fiction since he was 15 years old, and now the 21 year old uses his apartment as a studio to create a pop sound with analog and electronic methods. Foxes In Fiction has one album under his belt, the February released Swung From The Branches, and has already set plans to release his sophomore record later this year (which means he better act fast).

Katy Perry is a little more, well, produced. So what happens when the fuzzed out Foxes In Fiction takes on Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream”? Well, you get a pretty dreamy song. Have a listen to “Teenage Dream” below.
