Jesy Fortino, the Seattle-ite who goes by Tiny Vipers, is set to release her newest album on Sub-Pop Records on July 7th. Given Sub-Pop's impeccable record of bringing nothing but quality to the zeitgeist, Life On Earth should be a combination of beautiful melodies and heart-wrenching sentiment that goes further than your typical "folk" music. As the New York Times says, "She’s not telling stories; she’s after incantation and trance.”
Care to hear for yourself? The good folks up in the Northwest have a free download, "Dreamer," for you off of the new album (right click the song title, save-as).
Have a look at her touring schedule below and catch up with a truly honest and transfixing performer.
