Owen Pallett releases video for “The Great Elsewhere”

We’ve always enjoyed receiving Owen Pallett news in our inbox, so you can believe I let out a cheerful little glee when Owen Pallett’s new video for “The Great Elsewhere” arrived in our email. “The Great Elsewhere” was directed by Yuula Benivolski and Geoffrey Pugen and comes off Pallett’s acclaimed 2010 release Heartland.

Pallett also has some tour dates planned – so you just might be seeing the violin playing Pallett if you find yourself in Denmark or Spain.

      …As a professional photographer, and not some kid with a point and shoot excited to see his stuff online, this sadly is a necessary part of my work… and I’ve been having a lot of problems with this photo in particular as that it is so popular.
      I appreciate that you like the work, and since I take a lot of music portraits and live photos for work, I’m happy to talk about you using my work again, but just with asked permission first.
