We’ve Got You Covered: ThreeSixtyFive Project

Writing and recording a song a day is a tough task, especially with the production that Ace Reporter is putting on each song the ThreeSixtyFive project. So Reporter killed two birds with one stone by filling some days with recordings, and telling his readers his favorite songs of the year without using some boring old list. What did Reporter do? He covered them.

His favorite songs of the year don’t feature any shockers (sorry, Willow Smith, but you missed the cut) – but Reporter’s style turns each song into something completely unique. A few of which could reach another person’s “favorites” list. My personal favorite song of the year is Local Natives’ “Airplanes,” and Reporter turned that into an acoustic ballad. Reporter’s shining achievement, however, is his cover of Yeasayer’s “O.N.E.” Have a listen below, and check out ThreeSixtyFive Project for his other work. The production work is really outstanding.
